WATCH: Warthogs invade St Lucia bowls green, put an end to game

The frisky visitors took advantage of the well-manicured green, and engaged in some frolicking and head-butting as club members looked on.

A game of bowls was interrupted at St Lucia Bowls Club earlier this week when a family of warthogs invaded the green.

The frisky visitors took advantage of the well-manicured green, and engaged in some frolicking and head-butting as club members looked on.

After giving their overall approval of the club’s facilities, they spent some time mowing part of the lawn before departing.

While the bowls club is always ready to welcome new members, this particular family was not quite what they were expecting.

These hogs have put in numerous appearances on St Lucia’s main road in the last few weeks, delighting residents and visitors alike.
