WATCH: Three injured in John Ross rush-hour crash

Three people were rushed to hospital after being involved in a head-on collision at the East Central Arterial intersection on the John Ross earlier this morning (Tuesday).

The accident occurred just after 7am, involving a light motor vehicle and a bakkie.

MedCare 24, KwaZulu Private and KZN EMS attended the scene, as did City of uMhlathuze Fire & Rescue whose members quickly extinguished a small blaze.

The patients were stabilised by paramedics on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
