‘Our courses teach young people about the importance of good discipline, not to lose hope and to have a positive mindset to overcome their obstacles,’ said NPO director Nonhlanhla Sibiya.

‘We also teach about the significance of healing from the past. Young people must refrain from holding grudges as it is dangerous and can halt your progress in life.’

Participants are encouraged to volunteer in their communities, and promote positive change.

The course covers a range of topics, including communication strategies, career guidance, job preparation, self-leadership, relationships and human nature.
