Malema made these remarks during a press briefing on Tuesday when he sent condolences to the family and loved ones of EFF uMkhanyakude District councillor Mxolisi Buthelezi.

Buthelezi was fatally gunned down on Thursday morning in a drive-by shooting at Ogengele near Mtubatuba.
‘We are pained by the loss of a dedicated leader to the gun violence that is so prevalent in KwaZulu-Natal.
‘As such, the EFF calls for an end to the assassinations which have characterised the political environment in the province, and may there be justice for our fallen soldier in the revolution. May he rest in peace,’ Malema said.
A memorial service for Buthelezi will be held on Thursday at the Prince Mzondeni Civic Centre in KwaMsane, Mtubatuba at 1pm.
Buthelezi is expected to be laid to rest on Saturday.
