Deejays donate to Port Durnford flood victims
The family lost everything in the recent floods
A Port Durnford family who lost most of their belongings in the recent floods received a huge donation from a group of deejays who visited the family last Wednesday.
They showed the spirit of ubuntu was alive when the group donated essentials to the family.

The kind gesture was spearheaded by Engadini Lifestyle under Nqobani ‘DJ Amenisto’ Gumede, as part of their contribution to the area in which they operate.
The group donated items such as a stove, kettle, blankets and mattresses.
‘The Mthembu family lost many of their things when the rain flooded their house,’ said DJ Amenisto.
‘This family of seven, which includes five young children, is living in a RDP house. The water entered the home and destroyed their belongings.
‘We hope this will be the beginning, and that other business people will come on board and assist the family.’
