Individuals are warned that no municipal job is up for sale.

‘No one is expected to pay for a job. The municipality will probe this matter further and report it to the police so these evildoers can be prosecuted.’

The municipality has advertised several posts, which include positions that would assist the Department of Water.

The posts include positions for artisans, assistant plumbers, operators and general assistants.

However, no payment is taken to secure these posts which will be filled following proper procedure.
