#Budget2022 – have your say

The budget allocation always aims to strike a balance between competing national spending priorities

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has urged South Africans to make their voices heard by submitting comments and suggestions for the 2022 budget.

Godongwana, who will deliver the budget speech on 23 February, is seeking input on what government should be spending on, how to address a large budget deficit, new sources of tax revenues, and other budget-relevant information.

‘As usual, the budget allocation always aims to strike a balance between competing national spending priorities,’ Treasury said in a statement.
