New ActionSA KZN chairperson

The appointment comes after Dr Khoza’s surprising resignation at the end of December

ActionSA’s Musa Kubheka has replaced Dr Makhosi Khoza as the party’s KZN chairperson.

The announcement that Kubheka would hold the position on an interim basis was made on Friday by ActionSA’s national chairperson Micheal Beuamont.

‘His appointment was fully endorsed by members of the KZN Interim Executive Committee who were consulted and unanimously pledged to give Kubheka all the necessary support,’ he said.

‘Kubheka served as the eThekwini Regional Chairperson, and demonstrated an ability to be brought into challenging environments and provide stable leadership.

‘Kubheka also serves as Chief Whip of the eThekwini ActionSA caucus.’

The appointment comes after Dr Khoza’s surprising resignation at the end of December.

In his acceptance of the role, Kubheka shared the adage ‘If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.’

This was a sentiment to which the KZN PEC has committed in terms of a common agenda of building campaign infrastructure for 2024.
