Hillside requires the services of a waste management company

Hillside requires the services of a waste management company to provide waste collection, transportation and disposal in an efficient, safe and environmentally efficient manner, according to Hillside’s scope of work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

In order to be successfully considered for progression of this expression of interest, all the below requirements will need to be met by the relevant incumbents:

i. The supplier shall comply with all relevant South African legislation, regulations and standards pertaining to waste management, transportation, disposal and documentation

ii. The supplier is to advise Hillside Aluminium of changes or improvements that are to be made in order to comply with these regulations
 
iii. The supplier must be in possession of a Waste License to operate a waste management facility. All landfill sites utilised must have the correct Waste Management License for the type of waste to be disposed of
 
iv. The supplier shall supply Hillside Aluminium, if required, with copies of relevant Hazardous Waste Transportation permits and certificates as required by the authorities, and the permit/license required to dispose of hazardous waste and substances on the various landfill sites
 
v. Ensure reporting on SAWIS is completed on behalf of Hillside Aluminium as required by the waste regulations

Interested parties must submit their expression of interest with the following supporting documents to: HillsideTenders@south32.net by 26 November 2021.
 
The heading (RFX-TEN-WASTE MANAGEMENT-202111) must be quoted on all communication related to this expression of interest.
 
i. Company registration documents (CK)
ii. BBBEE certificate or affidavit
iii. Company profile with the contact details of the Respondents’ representative
iv. Proof of previous related experience
v. Contact details of three (3) references
 
ONLY QUALIFYING COMPANIES WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE TENDER.
