#WearItWild for nature conservation
WWF annual Wear It Wild campaign aims to raise much-needed funds to assist with nature and wildlife conservation
STAND out from the herd by in your animal-inspired gear in support of World Wide Fund for Nature’s (WWF) #WearItWild campaign from 14 October to 14 November.
The globe’s wildlife need our help – habitat destruction, overfishing and poaching are having a drastic effect on animal populations worldwide. Here in South Africa, on average, three rhinos are poached a day.

Many animal populations are diminishing rapidly, and we need to take urgent action so that species don’t go extinct in our lifetime.
#WearItWild is WWF’s annual fundraising campaign takes place in offices, schools and homes across the country.
You can host fun day with a difference and encourage guests to dress up as their favourite animal! Just lean into those animal instincts and when get kitted out in wildlife-inspired fancy dress to raise funds for nature.
Participants can donate a fee of R10 each to WWF SA and contribute towards protecting our planet’s rich natural heritage. You can even hold a fancy-dress competition with prizes like a half-day off work.
If you’re working from home, connect online with colleagues over a cup of coffee to show off your fancy dress outfits.
Schools can participate by asking children to dress up for a R10 donation to WWF and even spend some time in the classroom making wildlife face masks.
