Search continues for teenager swept out to sea at St Lucia

A police Search and Rescue unit is continuing its search for a drown victim at Jabula Beach in St Lucia.

On Monday afternoon the NSRI St Lucia duty crew were activated following a report by police and iSimangaliso Wetland Park rangers of a 14-year-old teenager being swept out to sea.

NSRI rescue swimmers responded and the sea rescue craft Rescue 40 Alpha was launched. An extensive sea and shoreline search has so far been unsuccessful.
