Man falls from Richards Bay dolosse

The man has been rescued and the incident is under investigation

A MAN was extricated from among the dolosse at Richards Bay’s south pier this morning (Monday) after a 2.5m fall.

SAPS and the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) were alerted to the emergency at about 7.50am, but details around how the incident occurred are still unclear.

The individual was reportedly transported to hospital for medical treatment.
