Car licence renewal at Stanger Post Office

The service is available to all KZN number plates including NRB

MOTORISTS in the KwaDukuza Municipality will be able to renew their car licences at the Stanger Post Office as of Monday, 20 September.

The office located at 15 Jackson Street will now have a dedicated queue for car licence renewals, with the service available to all KZN number plates including NRB.

‘The post office does not charge any commission – the owner of the vehicle pays only the licence fee that is printed on the renewal notice.

‘There is no need to return a day or so later either; the owner of the vehicle receives the licence disk and receipt right there and then at the post office counter,’ said Post Office spokesperson for KZN, Nobuhle Njapha.

Vehicle owners will need their ID book and proof of address when renewing their car’s licence.

‘If they did not receive a renewal notice, they can download the blank renewal form from the Post Office website and fill it in before they go to the post office.

The form is at www.postoffice.co.za.

Click on products, choose domestic and then vehicle licensing.
