TWO MANDENI residents suffered extensive burns after a substation exploded earlier today (Thursday).
IPSS Medical Rescue paramedic Paul Herbst said that upon arrival, paramedics established that two people had sustained critical injuries.

Paramedics worked to stabilise the men, one of whom was airlifted to hospital while the other was transported to a local medical facility under the care of advanced life support paramedics.
