WATCH: Motorist lucky to be alive as truck ‘falls’ on bakkie in Richards Bay

Alumina Allee in Richards Bay is a no go zone after a heavy goods truck overturned while navigating a sharp bend, and landed on a bakkie.

Miraculously, the driver of the bakkie walked away from the accident without a scratch.

The truck driver is also uninjured, but shocked.

The incident occurred just after 11.30am today (Thursday) at the sharp bend on Alumina Allee, coming from the Brackenham side. Motorists should avoid the route owing to a major diesel spillage.
