THE Zululand community can show their support for Child Protection Week awareness by contributing to the Cupcakes for a Cause fundraiser hosted by Richards Bay Family Care (RBFC).

Held from 31 May to 5 June, National Child Protection Week is a campaign to educate the community on the importance of child safety.

It also creates awareness of different types of abuse, such as emotional, physical and sexual abuse, as well as child exploitation and neglect.

RBFC will be creating awareness and fundraising at the same time during this initiative.

Businesses, schools and organisations can support the cause by challenging others to place their order for six cupcakes at R100.

As an NPO, it is vital for RBFC to keep raising funds to sustain the organisation so it can continue rendering child protection services and reaching out to children in need of its services.

An order form is available, and businesses are encouraged to advertise the campaign to all staff members, as well as collect payments and place orders. Deliveries will be made on specific days.

To participate in this sweet campaign, contact Terrynne on 072 7403710 or Ruchelle on 082 7375266.
