Meerensee residents undertake tree trimming campaign

RESIDENTS of Sword Fish road in Meerensee took to the streets over the weekend to cut down trees and other greenery encroaching on the road.

The foliage, which has grown over a section of the road, has presented difficult, and at times unsafe, driving conditions as it forces motorists to use a smaller portion of the road.

Debris was removed and the residents used their own bakkies to dump it at the appropriate municipal site.
