Do you and your mother look alike?
We are searching for Zululand’s most similar-looking mother and child.
Our Mother’s Day competition will have readers looking twice – just to make sure they’re not seeing double!
We invite readers to enter their moms – or, if the child is too young, dad is just as welcome to enter mom.
There is no age restriction, but the mother must be a Zululand resident.
Photos must not be older than a year and both mother and child must still be living.
Send us a recent photo of you and your mom, along with the following information (just for our records):
– The names and surnames of the people in the photo
– The mother’s physical address and contact number
– The date on which the photo was taken. Photos taken more than a year ago will not be accepted.
Photos without the above-mentioned information will not qualify for the competition. Remember, we’re looking for mother-and-child lookalikes!
Email your photo to momslookalike@zob.co.za Photos must be at least 500kb in size – anything smaller will not be considered.
We will publish some of the photos in the Zululand Observer, Eyethu Bay Watch and on the ZO website – www.zululandobserver.co.za – to promote the competition.
Closing date for entries is Thursday, 15 April.
Our panel of judges will choose the top 20 best look-alikes, which will be published in the ZO Weekender edition of 22 April, as well as on our website.
Readers will then be able to vote for their favourite mother-and-child pair. The final winner will be announced on Thursday, 6 May – just in time for Mother’s Day!
So get snapping and show us who is Zululand’s most similar-looking mother and child duo!
