Club cricketers finally get game time
This was the first time in months players got game time after the Covid-19 pandemic forced CSA to cancel the 2019/2020 amateur season.

CLUB cricketers were eager to dust off the cobwebs and get back out on the pitch, which they finally managed to do in the first round of the King Cetshwayo Cricket District T20 league on Saturday.
This was the first time in months players got game time after the Covid-19 pandemic forced CSA to cancel the 2019/2020 amateur season.

Currently, there are nine clubs competing in the King Cetshwayo leagueTeams have been divided into two pools and will complete a round-robin system, with the top two sides from each pool qualifying for the semi-finals.
Pool one is made up of Empangeni Cricket Club (ECC), eSikhawini, eShowe, and Thandani, with Felixton, Richards Bay Cricket Club 1 (RBCC 1), Brackenham, uMfolozi, and Empangeni Rugby Football Club (ERFC) making up pool two.
Remaining T20 fixtures: Saturday, 13 March
ERFC vs RBCC 1 at ERFC.
Brackenham vs uMfolozi at uMfolozi.
ECC vs eShowe at Addison Park.
Saturday, 20 March
uMfolozi vs Felixton at Felixton.
RBCC 1 vs Brackenham at Addison Park.
eShowe vs eSikhawini at eShowe.
Saturday, 27 March
ERFC vs Felixton at ERFC.
RBCC1 vs uMfolozi at Felixton/Addion Park.
eSikahwini vs Thandanani at uMfolozi.
Saturday 10 April
Felixton vs RBCC 1 at Felixton.
ERFC vs Brackenham at ERFC.
ECC vs Thandanani at Addison Park.
Semi-final – Saturday, 17 April.
Final – Saturday, 24 April.
