The institute observes, among others, employee well-being, diversity and inclusivity.

RBM Managing Director, Werner Duvenhage said the award is testament to the company’s focus on creating a productive and engaging work environment for its employees, and encourages growth and diversity.

‘Never before has our ability to respond and adapt quickly been more evident than in the past year when life as we know it was turned upside down with the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic,’ said Duvenhage.

RBM’s response to the pandemic included the implementation of procedures and controls to safeguard the health and well-being of employees and contractors.

The company’s efforts to support the government’s prevention attempts further extended to local communities through the donation of food, water, and critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

‘Engagement with all stakeholders, and at the top of that list are our employees, is a key strategic objective for RBM.

‘I believe this award is testament to the fact that year-on-year we are getting better at ensuring we foster a culture where every voice is heard, every idea is encouraged, and everyone is supported,’ said Duvenhage.
