Missing persons sought by Empangeni SAPS

EMPANGENI police appeal to the public to assist them in locating two missing persons.

King Cetshwayo cluster police spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalsoe, said Silindile Buthelezi (27) of eNseleni Township went missing on Saturday, 7 November.

‘Silindile did call on Saturday, telling her sister she was on her way back to her home in Mahlabathini, but later when the family tried to make contact, her phone went directly to voicemail,’ said Mdlalose.

Nobuhle said they looked everywhere for her when they realised she had gone missing.

Silindile is fair in complexion, about 1.6m tall and slender. She was last seen wearing blue denim jeans and a black round-neck T-shirt.

Mdlalose said they were also looking for Sipho Thomas Maphalala (43) of eNseleni Township, who went missing on Saturday , 12 December.

‘Maphalala is fair in complexion, about 1.71m tall and weighs approximately 78kg. He has short black hair. He last was seen wearing orange overalls and navy T-shirt,’ Mdlalose said.
