A FORMER Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns soccer player was killed in a car accident on the N2 near Mtunzini earlier this (Monday) morning.
IPSS Medical Rescue attended to the single-vehicle roll-over and found the man had been ejected 30m from the vehicle.

He was declared deceased on scene.
The female driver was severely entrapped in the wreckage, sustaining critical injuries.
While she was under the care of advanced life support paramedics, rescue crews extricated the woman using the ‘jaws of life’.
She was then transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
