Zululand Hospice annual Tree of Light service goes virtual in 2020

THERE is less than a week to go before the annual Zululand Hospice Tree of Light function.

Breaking with tradition because of the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, this year’s event will take the form of a virtual remembrance.

It takes place next Tuesday and the community can join in live on the Zululand Hospice Association’s Facebook page for the ceremony and moment of lighting the tree in remembrance of their loved ones.

The service will begin at 6.20pm.

Memorial candles can be purchased for R50 at Hospice House Empangeni, 18 Turnbull Street, or Hospice House Richards Bay, 2 Rhus Lancia in Arboretum.
