Empangeni: Four missing persons sought

Can you help Empangeni police find these people?

EMPANGENI police appeal to the public to assist in locating four missing persons – Minenhle Nozipho Cebekhulu (25) of Mevamhlophe Reserve, Bhekokwakhe Cosmos Mdletshe (37), Nzuzo Uday Gumede (30) both of Ngwelezana Township, and Dietty Fynn (29) of KwaMbonambi.

Cebekhulu was last seen on Monday, 19 October going to Empangeni, but never returned.

King Cetshwayo cluster police spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, said Cebekhulu was last seen wearing a red tracksuit.

‘She is dark in complexion, and about 1.5m tall.

‘Mdletshe is fair in complexion and about 1.6m tall and of slender build. He was last seen on Saturday, 30 May at his home. He was wearing a black leather jacket and white jeans. He is mentally disturbed.

‘Fynn is fair in complexion, of slender build and 1.5m tall. She was last seen on Tuesday, 14 July. It is alleged that she left home for Empangeni and was wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

‘We appeal to anyone who might have information about the whereabouts of these three missing persons to contacts investigating officer, Detective Lieutenant Colonel Dudu Mnguni, on 082 5570049,’

Mdlalose said Gumede was reported missing on Monday, 5 October and was last seen with his friend Zamani Mtshali, whose burnt body was found in his Toyota Rav 4 in Port Durnford

Gumede is dark in complexion, 1.6m tall and of slender build.

Anyone with information on Gumede’s whereabouts can contact the investigating officer, Detective Captain Bongani Mathenjwa, on 082 5570158.
