The stores have since closed.

The political party took to picketing at Clicks stores across the country after the retailers came under fire over the weekend following a controversial TRESemmé advertising campaign which depicted black women’s hair as dry and damaged, and referred to white women’s hair as normal.

The advert which has since been retracted by TRESemmé and Clicks, sent sparks flying across social media, with many calling the company out for being racist.

The EFF has since vowed to shut down stores and has taken to looting some franchises around the country.
