Empangeni SPCA adoption corner

Visit the SPCA and welcome a new member of the family

BRING some happiness during these troubled times by adopting a pet from the Empangeni SPCA.

There are 13 dogs, five puppies, eight kittens and five cats in search of loving homes.

The adoption process is simple: just fill out an adoption application form, before a property pre-inspection is conducted… and then the relationship begins!

A once-off fee of R850 (dogs) or R550 (cats) is paid, sterilisation is done, and then the pet is ready for home.

The local non-profit organisation is open Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 3pm, and Saturdays from 9am to midday.

The SPCA is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

The Empangeni SPCA also offers boarding facilities for cats and dogs, for those owners needing temporary homes for their furry friends while away.

The cost of this service differs per application.

For further information, contact the SPCA on 071 1744746 or, for any emergencies, contact Debbie Cross on 083 482 3866.
