PROMOTING health and hygiene has always been a key focus of Richards Bay organisation, The Abundant Life Centre (TALC), with this message particularly relevant during the ongoing pandemic.

Continuing this vital work, the centre visited 15 local schools on Friday, donating 13 900 masks and 56 thermometers – sufficient supply to ensure every pupil is protected against the spread of Covid-19.

ALSO READ: Covid-19 compliance drive at Ngwelezane outside Empangeni TALC, which also focuses on spirituality and life-long learning, has been undertaking community outreach programmes over the past five years.

The recent donation is the first phase of the distribution roll-out, with additional schools, local clinics and other non-profit organisations set to benefit from contributions throughout the year.
