ARE you a poet needing a platform to showcase your talents?

Homegrown SATMA and SAVA award-winning poet Mbali ‘Magcwabe Imbongi’ Mkhize-Mabaso is giving local poets a chance to shine.

The nationally recognised poet is launching the King Cetshwayo Online Poetry Competition – a platform aimed at exposing local poets, giving them opportunities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Reciters can send their videos under the theme, Covid-19 and gender-based violence.

The competition has already started and videos can be emailed to video@magcwabe.co.za

Finals will be held on Thursday, 24 September, with plenty of prizes to be won.
