THE Empangeni SPCA is appealing to the public for help during this time.
Like many organisations, the SPCA has been hard-hit by Covid-19 and, for three months, has been unable to hold fundraising events or run their charity shop, which helps keep them afloat.
During this period, the organisation has also had an influx of pets being surrendered, as many people have lost their jobs or fallen ill, and are unable to care for their pet.
Donations of funds and/or food would be greatly appreciated the SPCA.
The items may be dropped of at Empangeni SPCA, or at PAWS at Five Ways Centre.
