FISHERMAN Philemon Buthelezi caught this Garrick of about one metre in length at Maphelane.
He caught the fish near the site of the whale beaching that occurred earlier this month.

A maintenance worker at Maphelane Ski Boat Club, Philemon fishes regularly in the area and was overjoyed when the ban on recreational fishing was lifted last month.
