Businessman fined for illegal liquor

A 32-YEAR-OLD man accused of transporting counterfeit liquor, was fined R1 500 in the KwaMsane Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

Mabekezela Zulu was arrested on Sunday night on the N2 by the KwaMsane Crime Prevention Unit conducting a routine patrol.

They flagged down the vehicle travelling at high speed. Zulu attempted to flee on foot but was caught.
