Calling all Covid-19 community heroes

Nominate a hero in our region

THESE difficult, uncertain times which have brought despair and desolation to many in the Zululand region and beyond, have also seen many pull together to help those in need.

While many ‘angels in skin’ do not wish to be named, photographed or recognised for the good deeds they do, the reality is that those good deeds, when publicised, encourage others to do the same.

This ripple effect of kindness serves only to better the lives of so many of the needy, impoverished citizens within the region.

If you know of anyone who has gone above and beyond to be of service during the lockdown period, we would love to hear from you.

This initiative is sponsored by South32, which would like to recognise those going beyond the call of duty while they, themselves, may very well be suffering during these difficult times.

Nominate anyone who fits the bill by sending a motivation of no more than 300 words, with a photograph and contact details to Louise Calitz on repsrb@zob.co.za.
