WATCH: Meat and beer trucks looted during community protest
A truck carrying pork and a truck carrying alcohol were looted as they were trapped for hours in eShowe during protest action
CHAOS erupted near eShowe when community members looted two stationary trucks during protest action this week.
Since last week, eShowe, Nkwaleni, Melmoth and Nkandla communities have demanded running water from the municipality.

With the roads being blocked, many motorists and truck drivers found themselves trapped for hours.
This was when opportunistic protesters took to stealing items being transported.
SAPS King Cetshwayo cluster spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose, said the looting of a meat and beer truck took place on the R66.
No arrests have been made, but eight people were charged for public violence the following day.
