THE South African National Blood Service (SANBS) will hold a blood donor clinic at the Empangeni Civic Centre tomorrow (Thursday) between 10am to 6pm.
With more than 3 300 daily donations required nationally, donors are urged to come out in support.

SANBS has implemented the following measures to ensure proper safety protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic.
* All persons will be screening at clinic entrances.
* Donors exhibiting flu-like symptoms are advised to delay donation until they are well.
* SANBS staff are screened daily and those with flu-like symptoms are not allowed to be on duty.
* Sanitisers will be available at each clinic entrance, and all surfaces and equipment are disinfected before the clinic opens and after each donation.
* All staff wear appropriate personal protective equipment while on duty.
As per current regulations, all donors must wear a mask when visiting donation sites.
