Amakhosi in KZN applaud government efforts to curb Covid-19

Amakhosi's role in Covid-19 fight acknowledged

AMAKHOSI in KZN applauded government’s ongoing efforts of curbing the spread of the coronavirus, and urged communities to continue abiding by the safety protocols put in place to counter the pandemic.

KZN MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), Sipho Hlomuka, met with the executive committee of the Provincial House to update them on progress to limit the spread of Covid-19.

Hlomuka thanked the Amakhosi for the important role they play in reinforcing government’s message to communities about social distancing, the wearing of masks and washing of hands with soap and water.

Provincial House Chairman, Inkosi Chiliza, expressed the committee’s commitment to support the fight against the spread of the virus.
