Ulundi Municipality to reopen on Monday

The offices were temporarily closed down on 22 June after positive Covid-19 cases

THE Ulundi Municipality will reopen on Monday after its offices were closed on 22 June when six employees tested positive for Covid-19.

Tracing teams continue to screen individuals who came into contact with the affected employees.

This week the municipality’s offices were disinfected in preparation for Monday’s reopening.

Municipal Manager, Nkosenye Zulu, said the municipality will continue to ensure that prescribed health protocols are strictly enforced.

Persons not wearing masks are not allowed to enter municipal buildings, as dictated by the national lockdown regulations.

Anyone who has visited the municipality within the last three weeks is advised to contact the municipality on 035 8745100.
