The man would pay his young victims between R3 and R5 to keep quiet

A 20-year-old convicted rapist was last week sentenced to 28 years imprisonment by the Inkanyezi Regional Court.

Mfundiseni Ntuli was accused of raping three victims aged between 8 and 14 in 2017 and 2018 at the Orphanage Centre in eShowe.

The young victims endured their ordeal for a whole year.

They told the court Ntuli would pay them between R3 and R5 after each rape encounter.

One of the victims eventually reported the rapes to her foster parents.

A case of rape was registered at eShowe SAPS and was then transferred to the eShowe Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit for investigation.
