Educational pamphlets to keep pupils informed about the coronavirus were placed at strategic points.

The dedicated team furthermore assisted with pupils’ screening and monitored whether they adhered to safety protocols, especially social distancing.

‘Part of the programme was demarcation markings for social distancing compliance as per the government regulations.

‘These included line markings in the corridors, and desks and chairs spacing in the classrooms.

‘We oversaw the delivery of personal protective equipment, sanitisers, face masks, and hand and class spray containers,’ said foundation founder Mkhuseli Buthelezi.
