RICHARDS Bay resident Rob McGeer spent his time under lockdown wisely, by recycling plastic into diesel.
‘I have always wanted to recycle plastic as it is such a nasty product that messes up rivers, oceans and every other place on earth,’ said McGeer.

‘During the lockdown, I heard about people keeping themselves busy by making pineapple beer, apple cider and baking all sorts of cookies and treats.
‘This got me thinking and inspired me to try this idea that I have been pondering on for a couple of years,’ said McGeer.
