KZN Aquatics fund to support coaches

Coaching and teaching children to swim are the coaches' sole sources of income

THE Covid-19 lockdown has resulted in 115 KZN Aquatics swim coaches and teachers losing their income in March and April, and possibly even into June, as all swimming pools have been closed.

Coaching and teaching children to swim are the coaches’ sole sources of income.

Funds are being raised to provide a minimum income for coaches and their families to tide them over during these trying times.

KZNA has set up an account which is now functional and which allows for individuals to make a donation.
