Police search for missing man near Groutville
The search was launched just before 1pm
AN intensive search has been launched for a man (48) who was swept off a low-lying bridge in the Groutville area.
IPSS Medical Rescue, together with uMhlali and Durban dog units, police divers and KwaDukuza lifeguards are involved in the search, which began just before 1pm.
Rescuers are busy at the Mvoti River, which is reportedly flowing strongly.
