KWADUKUZA police recovered two hijacked vehicles on the R70 route to Maphumulo on Monday night.
Police reacted swiftly to reports of a hijacked bakkie, and while pursuing it, they also spotted a VW Polo which was also reportedly hijacked in KwaMashu Township in Durban.

Police spokesperson, Priya Nunkumar, said police officers managed to pull off both vehicles, after which the suspects in both vehicles fled the scene into the nearby bushes.
Two victims with gunshot wounds were found in the VW Polo and rushed to hospital.
‘Our preliminary investigation indicates the VW Polo was hijacked in KwaMashu and en route to Maphumulo the suspects also hijacked a Nissan NP200 bakkie.’
