Ezemvelo reviews accommodation cancellation policy

Guests will be eligible for a full refund of the amount paid as a deposit to Ezemvelo, provided a cancellation notice or request is made more than 14 days before the arrival date

IN light of the national disaster declared on Sunday relating to the coronavirus, Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife has temporarily reviewed its policy regarding the cancellation and amendments on bookings at accommodation facilities in the reserves under its control for international and domestic guests.

These conditions became applicable from Wednesday, until such time as Ezemvelo reverts to its usual cancellation policy.

Those who have made their reservations through tour operators or travel agents need to liaise directly with their service providers.

Should a guest wish to amend his/her booking 24 hours before arrival to a later date, but within 60 days of the original date, there will be no additional cost.

Guests will be eligible for a full refund of the amount paid as a deposit to Ezemvelo, provided a cancellation notice or request is made more than 14 days before the arrival date.

Should the cancellation notice or request be made 14 days or less before arrival, the guest will receive a 50% refund of the deposit paid to Ezemvelo.

These arrangements exclude all entrance fees and/or tariffs chargeable at the gate of Ezemvelo facilities.
