Zululand’s social events cancelled amid coronavirus fears

Many entertainment events have been put on hold or cancelled

The prohibition of gatherings of 100 or more people has put paid to many Zululand events, as entertainment businesses and some food outlets closed their doors.

Upcoming events have been shelved, including the eShowe CANSA Relay for Life event, Richards Bay Family Care’s ‘Cowboys and Crooks’ fund-raiser, and the Miss Mzingazi pageant.

The public is advised to call the coronavirus hotline on 0800 029 999 with any suspected coronavirus cases, or to report or obtain information relevant to the pandemic.

See this week’s ZO Weekender edition for the full story and full list of cancelled events.
