A 36-YEAR-OLD man, Mduduzi Nxumalo, who faces a string of serious charges such as rape, sexual assault, kidnapping and robbery, was arrested at Inanda on Thursday.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele, said Nxumalo was arrested by Inanda police for attempted murder.
‘Shortly after the arrest, Jozini detectives were alerted and they fetched him from the Inanda police station.
Nxumalo was sought for allegedly raping, kidnapping and robbing three women in Jozini on 16 September.
He appeared in the Ubombo Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. His bail hearing was postponed to 22 November.
