Call on women to seize their opportunities
'Without women, the world cannot become a better place, as women provide the balance that is needed.'
CITY of uMhlathuze Deputy Mayor Dudu Sibiya has called on women to realise their full potential and help fight for a just and equal society.
Sibiya was speaking at a women’s empowerment event hosted by Cebuk Investments in Richards Bay last week.
‘It is our view that the future is indeed female and we ought to look the part and be exemplary in our actions.
‘Without women, the world cannot become a better place, as women provide the balance that is needed,’ she said.
The first step, she said, is for women to know their worth and tap into their capabilities.
She called on women to seize every opportunity presented to them.
