Well known deejay Nqobani ‘DJ Amenisto’ Gumede was hijacked and robbed in Manguzi on Saturday night.
The ‘Imhlola kaJames’ hitmaker was booked for a gig in the area, but ended up being robbed of his car and sound equipment at gunpoint by a group of unknown men.
Gumede and his two assistants were left in the bush and had to walk more than 10km to get help at the nearest police station.
A case of hijacking was opened and is being investigated.
