Our Perfect Wedding #OPW got a true taste of Zululand when local events company ByDzine turned Dumisani and Mbali Dube’s wedding in an absolute dream come true.

The Dubes enlisted ByDZine to handle the décor side of their dream wedding, which was showcased on the popular TV reality show Our Perfect Wedding on DSTV channel Mzanzi Magic on Sunday night.

In celebration of their TV time, the ByDzine  team invited their friends, customers and close associates to an exclusive screening event of the show.

The ByDzine and Function Foods showroom was transformed into a fairytale wonderland with exquisitely decorated tables and funky food, snack and drink stations adorned with delectable finger foods.

An appreciative audience delighted in the chance to mingle, indulge in the delectable dishes, and surround themselves with detailed decor whilst watching the ByDZine team make another couple’s dream wedding a reality.

The programme featured the Mtubatuba couple’s background and how they met before discussing their ‘wishlist’ for a perfect wedding.

Citing her appreciation for ‘the finer things in life’, Mbali said she specifically wanted gold and pink in her colour scheme.

And as always, ByDZine did not disappoint and had Mbali in tears when she saw what the ByDZine team had transformed the reception room into.

The designer wedding scheme of ‘Valentino pinks, Chanel whites and Versace golds’, were in abundance – from the pink roses, golden chairs, gilded base plates, gold cutlery, botanical napkins, crystal candlebra and candles criss-crossing the room to highlight the main stage adorned with floating candles against a rose wall – this completed the picture.

Not only was Mbali in tears and Dumisane beaming with pride, but the whole of Mzansi seemed to be equally thrilled with the attention to detail and the bespoke way the decor was created and put together with love.

The ByDZine team is proud to have been able to capture the Dubes’ dream and show that elegance doesn’t have to be expensive – it is a simple philosophy on which they base each event, party, uMembeso, uMabo, wedding and even the first year birthday party afterwards.
