Boardwalk stationery drive extended

Stationery donated will go to underprivileged schoolchildren

LAST year’s hugely popular stationery drive by Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre in aid of Amangwe Village is back again, and has been extended to mid-February.

The back-to-school stationery drive last year saw 19 stationery packs distributed to primary and high schools in the region Amangwe Village serves.

Additionally, stationery was donated to Amangwe’s boys’ and girls’ clubs, the Kidz Alive programme and Amangwe crèche.

The public is encouraged to drop stationery items into the collection boxes located at the Boardwalk’s information hub upstairs and outside The Fix downstairs.

The drive will run until 16 February.

Every item of stationery donated, be it pens, pencils, notepads, rulers or calculators, will be given to underprivileged schoolchildren living in the area served by Amangwe Village.
