New iSimangaliso entry tariffs

The Wetland Park has announced its annual entry increases

THE iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority has issued new entry tariffs to mark the start of the holiday season.

The tariffs came into effect on 1 December and are as follows:

Eastern Shores (Bhangazi gate), Mkhuze (Ophansi and eMshopi gates) and Western Shores (Dukuduku gate): Adults R51, children R37, vehicles R61 (1 – 5 people), R90 (6 – 12 people), R124 (13 – 20 people) and R213 (21+ people).

Sodwana Bay: Adults R23, children R19, vehicles R32 (1 – 5 people), R47 (6 – 12 people), R64 (13 – 20 people) and R111 (21+ people).

Maphelane: Adults R45, children R27, vehicles R20 regardless of the number of occupants.

False Bay: Adults R45, children R27, vehicles R20 (1 – 5 people), R25 (6 – 12 people), R30 (13 – 20 people) and R35 (21+ people).

Coastal forest: Adults R28, children R16, vehicles R29 regardless of the number of occupants.

Kosi Bay: Adults R55, children R28, vehicles R56 regardless of the number of occupants.

A community levy of R5 per person is charged at all gates, as is an overnight levy of R8 per person per night.

This includes Rhino Gold Card holders.

A vessel launching fee of R100 per vessel applies at Sodwana Bay, Cape Vidal, St Lucia and Maphelane.

A daily permit is required for all tour operators wanting to conduct tours within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

These permits must be bought at the gates.
